Although he may not be leading the league in runs or steals, Trout will still garner a lot of MVP votes. Everyone who watches ESPN knows that Trout is a great defender because of the home runs he robs and the web gems he catches. The biggest joke of the MLB season last season was that Trout didn’t win a Gold Glove last season. However, he is the favorite to win the award this year because of his arm and speed.
